DATA SECURITY AND PRIVACY POLICY
Genesis Mart Pvt. Ltd. (“We”) is committed to protecting data and privacy of individuals (“you”) visiting
and using Genesis Mart’s website and platform. Genesis Mart does not require visitors to give us
personal information while browsing our platform, and, we shall not collect your personal information
beyond the automatically collected data specified below, unless you specifically and knowingly choose
to provide such information to us. However, Genesis Mart shall require you to provide certain personal
information in order to use the services of Genesis Mart’s platform. Genesis Mart shall treat the privacy
of such information with utmost importance.
Information Collected and Stored Automatically
While you browse through Genesis Mart’s platform, Genesis Mart shall not collect personal information
such as name, email, mailing address or similar identifying information of the visitors without your
specific knowledge. However, for continual improvement of our platform and platform management
purposes, following information shall be collected automatically:
a) The date and time (with time zone) of your visit to the platform.
b) Internet Protocol (IP) address. A computer’s IP address establishes its location on the Internet

c) Type of Internet traffic associated with a specific IP address;
d) Type of Internet traffic associated with a specific time or event;
e) Type of technology used to access the website (such as the type of internet browser and type of
operating system)
f) Types of events
g) The location associated with an event (such as apparent nation of origin)
h) Host names
i) Malicious software identification
j) Caller Identification logs, which provide a caller's apparent phone number.
Genesis Mart shall use the above information to measure the traffic of visitors in different sectors of our
platform, assess system performance, track search behavior and make our platform more useful to the
visitors.
Personally Identifiable Information
Genesis Mart shall not collect personal information without your consent. Submitting your personal
information is voluntary and by doing so, Genesis Mart acquires the right to use the
information for the specific stated purpose. Incomplete information may result in Genesis Mart’s
inability to provide you with the service you desire.
If you should choose to provide us with the personal information on the platform, Genesis Mart shall
use that information to provide the service you request with the best recommendation available.
Disclosure of the information
If you should choose to provide your personal information, you are consenting to Genesis Mart’s use of
that information and permitting Genesis Mart to share such information with Genesis Mart’s employees,
contractors, vendors, and in limited circumstances with third parties with sole purpose of conducting
Genesis Mart’s official business or fulfilling the service that you requested. Genesis Mart ensures that
such third parties are always bound by confidentiality restrictions to protect your personal information.
Other than these purposes or circumstances, Genesis Mart shall not sell, share or rent your personal
information to others for commercial benefits.
However, Genesis Mart won’t be able to ensure non-disclosure of your personal information to
government authorities when asked for as per the prevailing laws of Nepal.
Please note that it is your responsibility to maintain the secrecy of your user ID and login password that
you hold and not disclose it to anyone you do not trust to use it properly.
Retention of information and their destruction
Genesis Mart shall retain your personal information as long as the purposes for which the information
was collected continues. Genesis Mart shall then destroy the data unless retention is required to satisfy
legal, regulatory or accounting requirements or to protect Genesis Mart’s interests. The maximum
retention period shall be 99 years.
However, should you voluntarily choose to require us to delete your information from our database by
following the procedure available at My Account > Delete My Account, we shall remove your personal
information from our database immediately. Nevertheless, We reserve the right to retain your personal
information to settle any financial arrangements or disputes between us, or to comply with our legal
obligations.
Monitoring of Data/ Communications
Genesis Mart reserves the right to monitor all internet communications including web and email traffic
into and out of its domains for the purpose of maintaining security of its systems, record transactions or
to prevent and detect crime or unauthorized activities. By using this site, you agree to security
monitoring and auditing.

Genesis Mart’s platform or website may use web measurement and customization technologies,
commonly known as “cookies” to collect information about your visits to the platform or website and
improve our service to you. These cookies do not collect personal information. Some cookies may stay
